Being the newest person to a community of people can sometimes be hard to transition into. Whether it be a school, a job, or even a living arrangement, it can cause a sense of intimidation. To help alleviate this process for the new admissions into our residential programs on campus, the youth panel teens decided to provide a welcome basket full of necessary items to help them get acclimated more easily. The baskets contain hygiene products, fleece blankets, stress balls, and fidget items. To continue accommodating our new admissions, the youth panel will replenish the baskets when needed and ask other residents what other items could be helpful to the newcomers! This is a very welcoming gesture by our youth panel, and this will help our new residents feel more at home.
