Foster Family Specialist/Case Planner

What is it exactly that you do?

I train potential foster parents, provide foster parents with ongoing trainings, approve kinship foster homes, open new certified foster homes, and case plan.

What is your favorite part about your Job?

My favorite part is being able to stay connected with newly certified foster homes and seeing parents develop and grow as foster parents.

What is a success story that you can remember that made you feel accomplished in your role?

Finding a suitable placement for a child who was struggling in her current placement. Following up with the foster parents and hearing how successful the child is in the new home.
