To provide a safe, healthy environment that supports acquisition and utilization of pro-social skills for youth residing in The House of the Good Shepherd RTA program.
-High School Diploma or Equivalency; some higher education preferred.1-year experience required to be eligible for RTA.
Various schedules available must be willing to work day, evening, weekend and holiday hours. Shift Supervisor schedule Wednesday thru Sunday 3pm to 11pm
-Current valid NYS driver's license
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Supervise youth in their daily routine in accordance with agency policy and procedures and program protocols;
-Participate in the development and implementation of ongoing activity programs for youth in care;
-Maintain a safe, clean and homelike environment for youth in care;
-Manage all behavioral problems in a manner that reflects the agency Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training and agency policy and procedures;
-Provide feedback regarding individualized treatment plans and implement these plans as defined by the youths primary therapist/treatment team;
-Regularly participate in staff meetings and supervision;
-Ensure completion of all written documentation as defined by program and agency policy and procedure;
-Ensure that all program and agency policies and procedures are followed;
-In the absence of the shift supervisor or other assigned staff, pass medication in accordance with physicians orders and record medications given according to agency guidelines and procedures;
-Participate in QI training and actively participate in the agency Quality Improvement Program;
-Successfully complete all required agency training as defined by program and agency policy;
-Other related tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor;
