Intensive Treatment Program (ITP)

Institutional Level of Care for Children ages 6–17 with Negative Life Experiences Identified as "Hard-to-Place" by Service Providers.

The Intensive Treatment Program is certified by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). It provides increased staffing and structure to support effective treatment for children who have suffered chronic stress and adversity and have become "hard to place." The program operates like a regular level Residential Treatment Center but addresses the unique situations of the residents through more specialized programming.

The House provides ITP services in two nine-bed cottages located on the Champlin Avenue campus. Adolescent girls live in Carbone Cottage and pre-adolescent and adolescent boys live in D Cottage.
