Intern/Student Opportunities

The House of the Good Shepherd offers several non-paid internships and other academic opportunities for high school students and college students at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Past internship placements have included:
• psychology
• child life
• criminal justice
• therapeutic recreation
• social work
• public relations

The staff at The House works with students to ensure that they have a hands-on, real-world experience at a non-profit agency dedicated to providing crucial services to at-risk children and their families. Several local high schools, colleges and universities have a close partnership with The House of the Good Shepherd to assist students in gaining valuable career knowledge.
