"Proud To Say I Was There."

I was in A cottage and non-secure detention in the 80's. I was on a bad path but HGS turn it around thanks to the staff that had to put up with me. I went through a lot of hard times, but a lot of good times as well. I will never forget the help I got there. Proud to say I was there. -Michael

"Who Knows Where I Would Be..."

I was at HGS in 1999. While I was there I gave the staff a very hard time. I was very young, and I did not want to hear what they had to say, but as I got older I realized that they cared about me, and only wanted the best for me. HGS really helped me. I am very thankful to all of the people who worked with me and took the time to care.

I am 21 years old now. I went and got my GED. I met a man who cares and loves me. And one day I hope we will get married. And that's all thanks to you guys. If I was not there, I would have been running the streets and who knows where I would be. Thank you from the bottom of my heart." - Christy

"So many memories..."

Hello, God it has been a long time. I was there at HGS 3 years ago. It's crazy how long ago I was there. Many stories and memories took place there. I had many times of anger and frustration, times of hurt and emotional stress.

I realize that through all of this I gained inner strength and trust in those who want to help. Now thanks to all of the guidance and support, I am getting adopted. I am officially discharged from Randolph Children's Home and living with my wonderful mom. I want to say thank you to those who have helped me out. I greatly appreciate this! I love you all!

Love,
Alicia
