3rd Annual “Wine All You Want” Wine Tasting & Food Pairing Gala

The “Wine All You Want” Wine Tasting & Food Pairing Gala will take place on
Friday, October 3, 2008 at the historic
Fort Schuyler Club 254 Genesee Street, Utica from
6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
EVENT CHAIR: Marianne Reynolds
EVENT DETAILS: Guests will enjoy three wine stations featuring an array of red, white and dessert wines. Wine will be served by staff from Bremer’s Wine & Liquor and The Vineyard. They will share information about how to match flavors, balance sweetness, pair opposites, and food preparation to enhance wine.
Food stations will feature a tantalizing selection of:
- Slow Roasted Round of Beef with red wine jus, dijon béarnaise & rolls
- Slow Roasted Turkey Breast with sage mayonnaise & cranberry chutney
- Cheese Display with Fruit Garnish
- Pasta Station with Cheese Tortellini, Penne Pasta with Marinara & Vodka Sauces
- Salad Bar with California Field Greens and Romaine with complements of Feta Cheese, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Black Calamatta Olives, Sweet Red Onion, Roasted Red Peppers & Croutons, and
- Desserts from Heidelberg Baking Company.
A silent auction is planed for the evening. Cash bar will also be available throughout the event.

HOW IT BENEFITS THE HOUSE: Funds from this year's event will help introduce a music program at The House of the Good Shepherd. Research documents that music lessons and activities in the creative arts accelerate the healing process for the increasing number of traumatized children coming to The House.
