Three players from The Utica Comets Ice Hockey Team visited the kids at The House of the Good Shepherd Campus on Wednesday, February 28.

The Comets players met with the kids and answered questions about how they got their start in hockey and what it takes to make your dreams into a reality. Then they hit the gym to play a game of kickball together. At the end of the night, the players graciously signed autographs for the kids.

The Comets believe it is important to give back to the community that supports them.

"The Save of the Day Foundation is committed to giving back to the community through grants to organizations as well as spending time at area non-profits," said Colleen Cianfrocco, CEO of the Foundation. "Visits like this to the House of the Good Shepherd give our players the opportunity to get to know and be a part of the community, as well as provide encouragement and inspiration to kids they have the good fortune to meet."
