Chanatry's Supermarket Donates Nearly $1600 To Holiday Hopes

Chanatry's Supermarket teamed up with the local Utica community to generously donate $1590 to The House of the Good Shepherd for the Holiday Hopes Campaign on January 18, 2018.

Chanatry's sold $1 tags at their registers to customers during the holiday season. In addition, the Chanatry's Family made a $1000 gift to the Holiday Hopes Gift Campaign.

Chanatry's and The House of the Good Shepherd have held a longstanding partnership and friendship for over 30 years.

"Giving back to the community and helping people in need is the true Christian way, no matter how you try help," Mark Chanatry, owner of Chanatry's, said.

The House of the Good Shepherd is thankful for Chanatry's and their loyal customers for supporting children and families this holiday season.

"We are blessed to have generous people who can share the spirit of giving and make the holidays special," Leila "Lee" Bjornland, director of development at The House, said.

Each year, The Holiday Hopes Gift Campaign at The House of The Good Shepherd provides gifts and funding for children and families during the holidays and offers needed resources throughout the year.
