The Director of Business and Finance will provide coordination and oversight of the Accounting Department.
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or other related field. Master's Degree or CPA preferred. Minimum seven years experience in a non-profit or public accounting setting. Two years supervisory experience required.
-Direct supervision of the Accounting Department staff.
-Prepares financial reports including but not limited to; annual CFR, 990, SSOPS for review by the CFO.
-Assists with the financial component of grant writing and new business development.
-Assists the CFO in the agency's budget process including support to programs to ensure timely and accurate completion of individual departments budget.
-Provides technical accounting oversight and performs detailed general ledger analysis to ensure accuracy of accounting records.
-Assists the Accounting Department with the internal audit process.
-Facilitates and oversees the annual 403(b) audit process.
-Serves as backup to the Payroll Accountant.
-Open Communication with the Executive, Administrative and Management Teams.
-All other duties as assigned
